An actor’s job is to bring a character to life, to tell a story through the eyes of the character. Learning lines is important but knowing who the person is makes for a more interesting performance and more rewarding experience. In this workshop, you will work on developing a character that is both interesting and believable. Come to class with a character and monologue that you would like to explore further. If you do not have one, you will be able to select from options provided by the instructor.

Lori Muhlstein is an award-winning performer and director and has been in the Northern Virginia theatre scene for more than 20 years. She is a StageCoach Theatre company member and recently performed in Exit Stage Death. She is an experienced trainer who thinks on her feet on a daily basis!
