Julius Caesar is consolidating power but some of his powerful friends are jealous. So they hatch a grand conspiracy with the support of the citizens to kill him during a Senate hearing. But after their treacherous act, everything begins to unravel, friendships are tested, marriages destroyed and all that they thought they would gain is lost forever.
