It’s time to carry the banner with Disney’s Newsies! Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged “newsies.” When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what’s right!
Final auditions and callbacks will be held on Sunday, April 7 from 12:00 noon – 3:00pm at the StageCoach Theatre, 20937 Ashburn Road, Suites 115 and 120, Ashburn, VA 20147. We will start with those who wish to audition and we will then see those who have auditioned in the past to determine final casting.
You will SING only one of these songs for the audition.

There will be DANCE choreography to “Seize the Day” which will be taught and then performed for the directors.
Prepare a 1-minute MONOLOGUE for your audition. Memorization is preferred but you may hold your script if necessary.
Please make an appointment to attend the audition. This is part of our summer camp program. Camp runs from June 10 – 22, Monday – Friday, from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Performances will be held June 21-22, 28-29. Actors are required to be at all performances.
