The latest comedy troupe from StageCoach Theatre, Rated S will be holding in-person, open call auditions for its sketch comedy troupe. Its upcoming inaugural season for an SNL-style skit show will include original sketches, digital shorts, and live music performances.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 15th from 3pm-5pm and Sunday, August 22nd from 1pm-3pm at StageCoach Theatre, 20937 Ashburn Rd. Suite 115, Ashburn, VA 20147. Virtual auditions via Zoom will be available on request. Auditions will consist of a one-minute comedic monologue along with cold readings from select Rated S sketch scripts.
Those wishing to audition should sign up for an audition slot here and send their resume and headshot to itsaskitshow@gmail.com with the subject line “Rated S Audition – ”. No resume? No headshot? No worries. Just try to make us laugh in your email (as we are also looking for aspiring sketch comedy writers).
Rated S rehearses primarily on Sunday afternoons and evenings with a few Saturdays thrown in here and there. We currently have a total of 7 rehearsals scheduled in preparation for our inaugural two show run on Friday, October 22nd and Friday, November 5th. Please let us know of any conflicts and we’ll do our best to accommodate them (we mean, if you’re talented enough). All rehearsals and performances will take place at StageCoach Theater. This opportunity is currently UNPAID.
