StageCoach Theatre Company announces auditions for Hansel and Gretel, a family-friendly musical based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Produced by Jerri Wiseman and written and directed by Joe Campanella, the play follows the classic story of the brother and sister who become lost in the woods. There they find a house made of gingerbread and a strange old woman who invites them inside. Little do they know that the woman is actually an evil witch! Adults and children alike will enjoy the humor, warmth, and excitement of this fun-filled family adventure.
Auditions will be held at StageCoach Theatre Company’s location at 20937 Ashburn Road, Suite 115, Ashburn VA. Audition dates are July 18 (7:30-9:30 PM) and July 20 (10:00 AM-noon). Auditions consist of a cold reading of a scene from the play, plus a song from the Song List accompanied by our pianist. See webpage for more details.
Performances will be held September 28 & 29 and October 5 & 6.
