Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by the Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!
AUDITIONS June 13 and 14
In-person auditions from 1:00 – 3:00pm.
Zoom auditions from 3:30 – 4:30pm
Prepare one memorized monologue (preferably from a modern comedy or farce) not to exceed 1 minute.
To reserve an in-person or Zoom audition time, please use Sign-Up Genius. Walk-ins will be seen as schedule permits. Video submissions must be received by noon on June 13, 2020.
All auditionees who reserve an in-person or Zoom audition time or submit a video must submit an audition form and a CURRENT photo or headshot and resume to clue.stagecoachthc@gmail.com. Photos do not need to be professionally taken; we just need to recognize you! All conflicts should be listed on your audition form starting from July 20. This includes weekends. The rehearsal schedule will depend on conflicts, but we anticipate Monday – Thursday and possibly some Saturdays or Sundays. Due to the close ensemble nature of the show, a significant number of conflicts may prevent you being cast in the show.
Walk-ins should bring their audition form with list of conflicts, headshot, and resume with them or they may send them to clue.stagecoachthc@gmail.com.
Call backs will be held on June 16 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm with readings from the script. ALL auditionees must be available for call backs.
Performances will run Sept 12 – 27 on Saturdays and Sundays. A SMALL stipend will be paid per performance. Everyone cast will need to be at ALL performances and at ALL rehearsals during the two weeks prior to opening.
