Auditions will be held on Sunday, December 10 from 12:00 – 2:00pm at the StageCoach Theatre, 20937 Ashburn Road, Suites 115 and 120, Ashburn, VA 20147.
Be prepared for cold readings from the script. Roles are open to ages 15 – adult. Some improv experience is helpful but is not required. All actors should be comfortable interacting with children in the audience. Cast: 3 men, 5 women.
No appointment is necessary. Actors will be seen in the order of arrival. This is a non-union production and roles are on a volunteer basis.
In “Cinderella, Cinderella…”, members of the audience help the show along! Small groups of children must come on stage to help Cinderella clean the stepmother’s house before the terrible family returns. Then children will help an absentminded Fairy Godmother get Cinderella dressed and ready for the ball; create the wild ride to the castle; and provide a distraught King Ferdinand and a sorrowful prince with a queen and ladies and gentlemen to dance with at the ball. This interactive children’s play is sure to be a great hit!
