Are you ready for a trip down memory lane with tunes from Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and many more? I Heard It Through the Grapevine that there will be some toe-tapping, moving and grooving, along with some surprises in our next Valentine’s Cabaret. It’s A Walk Through Motown – Sort of.
Auditions will be held
Saturday, October 15 from 10:00am – 12:00 noon
Sunday, October 16 from 2:00 – 4:00pm
at StageCoach Theatre, 20937 Ashburn Road, Suites 115 and 120, Ashburn, VA 20147.
Those who would like to audition should sign up on Sign-Up Genius and complete an audition form. (Click the bolded words – they’re links.) Please send your resume and headshot to info@stagecoachtc.com. An optional candid selfie will do if you don’t have a headshot.
Please prepare 1 minute of a Motown song which would show off your vocal range. Bring a backing track to play on your phone or pre-send the track or YouTube link to info@stagecoachtc.com. No a capella singing. A pianist will NOT be available.
Bring all known conflicts beginning October 23. Rehearsals will be scheduled for 2-3 weeknight evenings, primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays, based on actor availability. Everyone cast will need to be at ALL performances and at ALL rehearsals during the two weeks prior to opening.
Looking for 3-4 adults, ages 21+.
All actors must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination at first rehearsal.
There is a small stipend per performance.
Performances will be held Feb 4, 11, 12, 18 and 19 at venues in Loudoun County, VA. Rehearsals will be held in Ashburn and Sterling locations.
