ðŸŽÂ Teen Play: An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestly ðŸŽ
Student Directed by Devin Carpenter
Produced by Torie Dunlap
An Inspector Calls is a gripping mystery that explores social responsibility, privilege, and the consequences of our actions. Set in 1912, the play follows the wealthy Birling family as their celebratory evening is disrupted by a mysterious inspector investigating the tragic death of a young woman. With its intense drama, compelling characters, and powerful message, this is a fantastic opportunity for actors to bring a classic and thought-provoking story to life on stage!
The story unfolds when a young girl’s tragic suicide sparks a routine inquiry into a seemingly respectable British family. As Inspector Goole questions each family member, hidden secrets and dark truths are revealed, unraveling their facade of unity and respectability. What begins as a cordial evening quickly descends into tension, distrust, and self-examination. But the biggest twist? The inspector may not be who he claims to be, and the final moments will leave you questioning everything.
