During the wake for pub regular Danny O’Connell, revelations about his past result in allegations and murder. The crime is so puzzling that only with the help of Danny’s fellow patrons will this mystery ever be solved. In order to catch the murderer, you must navigate your way through the antics of this zany cast of characters. Powerhouse pub owner Tara O’Flynn works her magic guiding patrons through memories of Danny’s colorful life while sorting out social gaffes caused by her husband David’s foot in mouth disease. Enigmatic businesswoman Ellie Gant referees for David and Tara and disputes with shady lawyer I. B. Broke who alleges that he has unearthed Danny’s final will. Shadowy Sheri O’Connell appears uninvited and claims to be Danny’s long lost daughter. Down-to-earth Cam O’Malley actually admits to being homeless or is he? This is a tale of deception and misdirection fueled by the dodgy behavior of characters who may not all be who they claim to be.

Character Descriptions:

Tara O’Flynn (age 35+): Owner of the local Irish bar. Has been running the bar for at least 5 years. She is strong willed but a very people-oriented person. She may or may not have an Irish accent. If she does, it would be light. She is married to David and they are having some problems. She takes care of her customers but won’t be bullied around. She is jolly and loveable; works well with the staff and is liked by all the customers. She is generous but still a smart business woman.

David O’Flynn (age 35+): He is married to Tara. Patrons find him loud yet funny because he lacks social polish. Seems to always put his foot in his mouth but means well. He is loveable and loves to joke around. However, he can get carried away with his sense of humor and has crossed the line on more than one occasion.

Ellie Gant (age 25+): She is the voice of reason during the show. She liked Danny and depending on the actor’s age, it could either have been a romantic interest or a daughter-to-father interest. She is a successful business woman and defends Danny. She doesn’t care too much for David because he is lazy and makes Tara do all the work. She is very much the protector of the downtrodden.

Cam O’Malley (age 40+): Homeless and down on his luck. He is polite, inquisitive and personable. He was sent to Tara by Danny so that she would have a good homeless person to take care of. Cam is polite and won’t take advantage of the O’Flynn’s generosity.

Sheri O’Connell (age 35+): She is allegedly the daughter of the late Danny O’Connell. She is polite yet pushy about getting things done. Since she is posing as Danny’s long lost daughter, she paints Danny as a bad father to get people to believe that she was deserted as a child.

I.B. Broke (age 30+): He is a lawyer but not a very good one. He has found his niche is writing wills for people who are down on their luck. He writes the wills in a way that he always makes money on the side. He is very likeable and very smooth but at times feels guilty about what he does.
