Upcoming Auditions

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 25 from 12:00 noon – 2:00pm for auditions for “Drunken Showtunes Cabaret”, directed by Katie Hudson.

Was that Cabaret or Cabernet? It’s both! Join StageCoach Theatre as we raise a tipsy toast to the music of Broadway in “Drunken Showtunes Cabaret.’’ We’ll use your favorite show tunes to poke a bit of fun at our drinking culture – harried parents who seek comfort in a glass of wine at the end of a long day, ladies who like their lunches liquid, and heartbroken romantics who need something strong to cope with a bad breakup. Drunken Showtunes will leave you feeling no pain.

Please prepare the following for the audition:

  • Sing 16 bars of a Broadway song.
    • We are looking for characters, not necessarily the finest singers in town for this cabaret!
  • Learn a simple dance taught at the auditions.

Performances of Drunken Showtunes Cabaret will be held in May and June – weekends May 6 – May 14, June 3-4. Actors must be available for all performances.

All resumes will be kept on file for upcoming murder mystery tours, cabarets, and team building exercises. The majority of shows are held in Loudoun County. Actors for our murder mystery and cabaret performances do NOT wait tables – we hire actors, not waiters.

StageCoach Theatre Company office, 44121 Harry Byrd Hwy. Suite 240, Ashburn, VA 20147 (Located next to the Community Church on Rt. 7 and Claiborne Parkway. In the same building as the Coney Island Diner. Please note that we do not keep regular office hours at this location.)

Feel free to email us at any time with your theatre resume and headshot (need not be professionally taken). We are presented with acting opportunities all the time and we call our list of available actors to assist us. If you are interested in auditioning for further shows, please be sure to join our mailing list. (See the tab on the left.) Also, follow us on Facebook for more up-to-the-minute announcements for auditions and shows.
